My favorite parts of this comic, in no particular order: As if jacking off merely carried the same kind of weight as learning to toss a ball or catch a fish. Where stories like the infamous Wild and Raunchy Son series feature hardcore and emotional capital-S SEX, “ Dad’s Toys” by Josman, seemed sort of a tame exploration of what might happen if we didn’t explode the idea of nudity and stimulation into a scary world of emotional pain and undue religious and societal ultra-significance. I decided to do a one-off story this week, instead of another installment of the Hardon Twins and their (as yet still unestablished) cockring mystery, partly because I didn’t want to sit and type out all that dialogue (with one hand, no less!), and partly because I just really love this comic and felt it was worth sharing.ĭad’s Toys is from way back in 2004 (when I was still in school!) and I remember thinking the first time I came across it how fraternal and kind and happy it seemed.
